If you are enthusiastic about science and enjoy public speaking, we want you! For our event on April 14th, we are looking for a passionate young speaker. One student speech will take place before The March. All speeches will need to be 5-10 minutes.
Prompt: How does the mission statement of the international March for Science movement resonate with you and what you’ve witnessed in recent government operations?
The mission statement reads thus:
“The March for Science champions robustly funded and publicly communicated science as a pillar of human freedom and prosperity. We unite as a diverse, nonpartisan group to call for science that upholds the common good, and for political leaders and policymakers to enact evidence-based policies in the public interest.”
